Maryland Professional Engineers Ethics and Law Exam (1 Hour)

Time limit for the exam: 1 hour

As a profession engineer you have an extraordinary responsibility to the public.  Failure to follow applicable laws and standards of practice can lead to sever consequences. The Maryland Code of Ethics requires licensed professional engineers to maintain current awareness of statutes, regulations, and ethical issues surrounding the profession.

The following examination is provided by the Maryland Board for Professional Engineers to give licensees an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the Maryland Statutes, Regulations, and Code of Ethics.  Licensees will earn one professional development hour for successfully completing this examination.

It is highly recommended that you review the Maryland Laws and Regulations prior to and during the examination.  The links are provided below:

Upon successful completion of the examination you will receive a certificate of completion by electronic mail.  This certificate will be used as evidence of completion in order to claim the one professional development hour for laws, regulations, and professional ethics.
